Picture taken with Franka
in Stockholm, March 2012. The camera will change hands many times in
the months ahead. Slow photography, snail mail and patience. But there
is a thrill to this journey - I will not reveal the next destination.
The camera is packed and about to be delivered to a photographer
somewhere in the world. Check out this blog at least once a week and you
will eventually find out where, when and who. And what.
In the meantime I will post some more photos, taken by Franka in Stockholm.
You are invited to join Franka on her journey around the world. Franka is a camera from 1958 or 1965 (?), simple and cheap. It is loaded with 120 film.
The journey will start this week and it will go on for perhaps as much as two years. I have not equipped Franka with a GPS or something similar - this is slow photography, snail mail and above all patience.
Does it sound like fun? OK, let us start with a quiz. Where is Franka in the picture above?
